                      Advanced Scuba Diver

   This course is a continuing education certification course for certified divers. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities and to is taught entirely in an open water setting. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities in the areas dived approximate to those of training. This course is appropriate for divers who desire additional training, desire local orientation, or desire to be exposed to a variety of diving sites and conditions.

                                                           Prerequisites for entering the course

   To enroll in an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver course with Guardian Professional Diving, one must:
-be at least 15 years of age
-have prior dive certification from a reputable association
-have at least 15 logged dives
-own their own personal gear (mask, fins, booties, snorkel, dive knife)

                                                                         **The Bottom Line**

   This course is to provide our students with a broad spectrum look at the different types of diving and expose them to various conditions and situations that may occur during these specific types of dives. Our instructors will accompany you on a minimum of 5 dives total: 3 are chosen by the instructor and 2 are chosen by the student. When you complete this course, you should have a good idea how to plan, prepare, and successfully complete any dive within reasonable limitations. Expect to be exposed to deeper depths, low visibility, surf, navigation, the use of dive computers, night diving, and simulated decompression stops during training for this course.
