I first began scuba diving in 1994 at the age of 15 off the coast of California at Catalina Island. I became fascinated by diving... new adventure, exploration, the common respect and love for the ocean that divers share. I have logged approximately 4000 dives during the course of my recreational and commercial diving career. In 2008 I became a recreational dive instructor when I realized that the recreational diving community lacked dive instructors with practical diving techniques. My career as a professional diver has taken me across the country, underneath cities, into unexplored wreckage, into underwater superstructures, into lakes, rivers, and even underneath spills.During the course of my commercial dive school I attended Diving Physics, Bosun skills training and rigging school, Diving mechanics, Hyperbaric procedures & chamber operations, aquatic life injury treatment, professional dive operations training, topside welding, underwater burning, underwater horizontal welding, underwater vertical welding, and underwater overhead welding. During the course of my career I have completed dives in access of 9 hours long. My love for recreational diving has taken me to the tropics, all over the west coast, through kelp, caverns, wrecks, and structures of all types.
I understand and respect the power and beauty of our precious oceans and hope to share that with as many people as possible.

Bachelor of Science - Business Management – University of Maryland
Associate of Science – Business Administration/Computer Science – Tidewater Community College
Dive Education
PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water
SSI Nitrox, Dive Control Specialist
NAUI Instructor
GUE Fundamentals Tech Rating
EMT with experience as a public safety diver volunteering for the City of Virginia Beach
My diving adventures have allowed me to accumulate well over 1000 dives throughout the world since 1994, including over 100 dives throughout the Red Sea, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, and a number of sites and wrecks from Maryland to Key West as well as the sites along the coast of California. Additionally, I completed the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber EDAM (Emergency Diving Accident Management) and Chamber Operations Courses in 2011, and am a current volunteer with the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. My passion has always been wreck diving, and I have been fortunate enough to have dove a number of well-known wrecks along the eastern U.S. seaboard and southern California, including a number of mixed-gas (Tri-Mix) dives wrecks like the UB-88 which lies in approximately 200 FSW. My hope is to continue exploring the depths exploring the oceans, while at the same time contributing to the environment by participating in volunteer environmental diving activities such as Ocean Defenders Alliance.
